Statement on the Succession of Rev. Fr. Anacleto Clemente Ignacio as Acting President of KAKATHA

HAGONOY, BULACAN – The Office of the Secretary has released an official statement regarding the succession of Rev. Fr. Anacleto Clemente Ignacio (Sta. Monica), Vice President of the Kapatiran ng Kapariang Taga-Hagonoy, Inc. as Acting President in lieu of the illness of Rev. Msgr. Ranilo Santos Trillana, P.C. (Sta. Monica), President. The statement is presented as follows:

In line with the illness of Rev. Msgr. Ranilo Santos Trillana, P.C., President of the Kapatiran ng Kapariang Taga-Hagonoy, Inc. (KAKATHA) and by virtue of his office as Vice President, REV. FR. ANACLETO CLEMENTE IGNACIO, hereby assumes the role as ACTING PRESIDENT of KAKATHA. He shall fill in the said position from today until Msgr. Trillana's full recovery which has been projected two (2) months from now.

With this, Fr. Ignacio has been tasked to take charge during the special general assembly of KAKATHA to be held at Saisaki Restaurant in West Ave., Quezon City on February 18, 2014 at 12:00 pm. All topics of the agenda for the said assembly shall be presented by him and with myself as notary.

   The statement has been undersigned by Rev. Fr. Rolando Reyes Atienza, Secretary and has been forwarded to Fr. Ignacio for full implementation of the responsibilities of his temporary office. STA. MARIA, BULACAN – Last January 7, Rev. Msgr. Ranilo Santos Trillana, P.C. (Sta. Monica), President of the Kapatiran ng Kapariang Taga-Hagonoy, Inc. (KAKATHA) was brought to the hospital for a heart operation. Msgr. Trillana was confined at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City where he had a quadruple by-pass, cleaning clogs in four channels to his heart.

   In a statement from the office of La Purisima Concepcion Parish, they have informed the public that Msgr. Trillana has endured the said operation. However, the doctors have advised him to take a rest of about two months. Brought about by his condition, he will be unable to exercise his offices for the said period of time. Msgr. Trillana is the incumbent Parish Priest of La Purisima Concepcion in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, the chairman of the Eucharistic Heart Foundation, Inc., chairman of the Diocesan Commission on the Social Security and Welfare of the Clergy and President of KAKATHA.

   With regards to affairs in KAKATHA, Msgr. Trillana has given his consent in declaring Rev. Fr. Anacleto Clemente Ignacio (Sta. Monica), Vice President of KAKATHA as Acting President. He shall hold the said office in the duration of Msgr. Trillana's full recovery. At present Msgr. Trillana has resided in his brother's residence in Valenzuela City. However, at this time visitors are not encouraged to come to him due to the sensitivity of his condition. Throughout his period of recovery, the officers of KAKATHA request for the readers' prayers for Msgr. Trillana to achieve full recovery. KAKATHA News Admin.

HAGONOY, BULACAN – During the last Christmas season, Hagonoeño priests have been spotted as they returned to their homes for time with their families. Two of noteworthy significance are Rev. Msgr. Fernando Garcia Gutierrez, H.P. (Sto. Niño) and Rev. Fr. Rogelio Dizon del Rosario, M.J. (San Jose).

   Msgr. Gutierrez is a priest of the Diocese of San Diego in San Diego County, California in the United States. However he started his ministry as a priest of the Diocese of Malolos in Bulacan. He was the first Rector of the Immaculate Conception Major Seminary in Tabe, Guiguinto, Bulacan which he served in its preparatory stages until 1996. He returned home due to the intense cold weather at present in the U.S. and decided to continue his physical therapy sessions in the Philippines. Throughout the Christmas season he was given masses in the Visita of Sto. Niño in his home barrio. He says that he shall be staying in a period of six months per year in the country starting this year in order to maintain his health against the harsh snow in California during the winter season. He is said to come home on December and will return to the U.S. every June of that year.

Fr. Rogelio del Rosario with members of the Redemptoris Mater Chorale of the Parish of Ina ng Laging Saklolo in San Pedro, Hagonoy, Bulacan who attended a mass at the chapel in San Sebastian.
   Fr. del Rosario is a priest of the Missionaries of Jesus (M.J.) and is presently Director of Our Lady of Peace School in Malabang, Lanao del Sur. He is also one of the current pioneers in conducting interreligious dialogue in the Prelature of Ipil in Zamboanga. Fr. del Rosario is often seen returning to Hagonoy during Holy Week and has been presently spotted this Christmas season. As part of his apostolate in helping the priests of the National Shrine and Parish of St. Anne which is his home parish, he helped in masses during the traditional Simbang Gabi. He had masses both in his native sitio chapel in Purok 2, San Jose as well as in a sitio chapel in San Sebastian. He returns to Lanao del Sur for the continuation of the academic year in their school.

   In their visits, the priests of Hagonoy are able to show their love and affection for the faithful of the town. It is through simple acts of presence that the devotees in Hagonoy are able to experience God's love. KAKATHA News Admin.
