KAKATHA NEWS EVENTS 2013
Dated: December 1, 2013
STA. MARIA, BULACAN - Last December 1, Rev. Fr. Anacleto Clemente Ignacio (Sta. Monica), KAKATHA Vice President and Rev. Msgr. Enrico Saguinsin Santos, H.P. (San Sebastian) celebrated their 40 years in the ministry as priests of the Holy Mother Church. It was held at the 8:30 Sunday mass at Sto. Niño Parish in Parada, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, the new parish assignment of Fr. Ignacio since November 15.
The mass was presided over by Fr. Ignacio and Msgr. Santos was the homilist for the celebration. The mass was attended by much of both the priests' family and friends. In his homily, Msgr. Santos stressed on the joy that both of them had as priests and also presented the message of hope in the First Sunday of Advent. At the end of the celebration, both Fr. Ignacio and Msgr. Santos thanked the people who attended their simple, yet joyous celebration in faith.
Both Fr. Ignacio and Msgr. Santos have been noted on their pastoral care for the parishes that they have been assigned to. Fr. Ignacio has been assigned to several large parishes such as St. Elizabeth of Hungary (Sta. Isabel, Malolos City), St. Ildefonse (Poblacion, Guiguinto), St. James the Apostle (Tabang, Plaridel) and St. Peter the Apostle (Tungkong Mangga, San Jose del Monte) where he is known for initiating efforts in social action and in promoting Basic Ecclesial Communities. Msgr. Santos has been known in his assignments in St. Joseph the Worker (Poblacion I, San Jose del Monte) and St. Augsutine (Poblacion, Baliwag). Truly it is a joy to see the beauty of God's care for the people through the 40 years of ministry of these two Hagonoeño priests. KAKATHA News Admin.
