HAGONOY, BULCAN - Last October 29,

This commemoration comprised of a reminiscing of the events that occurred in 1991 when the proclamation from the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) was given to the parish community of Hagonoy. The Municipal Special Events office mentioned that, “The whole town prepared for the event with offering time, effort and resources in order for the patroness of our town, Apo Ana may be given due respect and in thanksgiving to God for this special grace.” The ceremony commenced with a prayer, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, the singing of the original hymn in honor of the 1991 event performed by Banda Santa Ana and followed by a traditional folk dance performance by the Sta. Truly with such a grace, (the church of ) Hagonoy could not but receive this honorific title as a national shrine.” KAKATHA, the present organization of priests-sons in the country has a list of 114 priest-sons of Hagonoy, 66 of whom are still alive and actively serving in different dioceses and religious congregations, here and abroad.

After the words of gratitude, the Parish Pastoral Council of Sta.
